If the tyre pressure light stays on after you have put air in, it is often the valve or the sensor, not another puncture.
Cars and vans built in the last decade carry a sensor in the wheel. When that sensor or its valve fails, the dash light stays on even though the tyre is fine. We supply and fit TPMS valves and sensors, and pair them so the car reads the pressures again.
It is worth doing at the same time as a tyre change. A sensor that is left out, or a valve that is perished, will bring the light straight back.
Valves and sensors Replaced when they are leaking, flat or not talking to the car.
Fitted with the tyre Done as part of a tyre change, or on its own if the light is the only problem.
Warning cleared The system is reset so you are not driving with a light you have learned to ignore.
How it works
1Tell us the carThe registration is usually enough for us to know the sensor.
2We fit the valveAt the yard, with the wheel off the vehicle.
3Light outYou leave with the pressures reading again.
